Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and Our Family Album for the use of our app and website. Please read them. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
1. Who can use Our Family Album
You must be an adult (of the age of majority where you live) to create an account. The service is meant for parents and family members to privately share photos and videos of their own children with people they invite.
2. Your account
You sign in with Apple or with your email address and a password. You are responsible for keeping access to that sign-in secure and for the activity in albums you create or administer. Tell us right away if you believe your account has been misused.
3. Your content
The photos, videos, and text you add remain yours. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store your content and show it to the album members you invite, and to create thumbnails and video preview frames. You confirm that you have the right to share what you upload, including the right to share images of the people in them.
4. Acceptable use
Use the service only for its purpose: private family sharing. Do not upload content that is unlawful, that infringes someone else's rights, or that you do not have permission to share. Do not attempt to access albums you were not invited to, disrupt the service, or misuse other members' content. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms.
5. Sharing and invites
Album admins control who is invited and what each member can see. When you invite someone, you are responsible for who you share your family's content with. Invite links are private; treat them like a key to your album.
6. Premium and payments
Our Family Album may offer an optional Premium subscription through the Apple App Store. If you subscribe, payment is charged to your Apple ID, and the subscription renews automatically until you cancel. You manage or cancel it in your Apple ID subscription settings. Prices and what Premium includes are shown in the app before you buy. Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms.
7. Deleting your content and account
You can delete individual items, delete an album, or delete your whole account at any time from within the app. Deleting an album or your account permanently removes the associated photos and videos from our storage.
8. Service changes and availability
We work to keep the service running, but we do not guarantee it will always be available or error free. We may add, change, or discontinue features. We will give reasonable notice of significant changes where we can.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Keep your own copies of photos and videos that matter to you; the app is a way to share, not a sole backup.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we make a material change, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
